Charles Kelley Jr.

Charles Everette Kelley, Jr., 80, of Lumberton, TX went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 4, 2017.  Charles was a loving and caring husband and father.  He enjoyed being outside and working in his yard.  His faith and his family were the two most important things to him.  He was a perfectionist at anything he did; he would not give up on anything until he found a solution.  He would give to anyone in need and he was there to help them.  He occasionally enjoyed fishing, but he was more of a homebody.  He had a life-long dream to travel to Israel and when he did, he was re-baptized in the Jordan River.  He was a devoted husband of over 53 years to the love of his life, Mary.  Charles served his country in the U.S. Army.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Everette Kelley, Sr., and wife Christeen Barrow; a sister, Mary Luma Coull.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Kelley; a son, Robert Kelley; a daughter, Kristie Kelley, and husband Christopher Frye; a brother, Larry Kelley, and wife Wanda; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
