Carl T. Bass, Jr.

Carl Truman Bass, 78, of Call, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  Carl was born on August 26, 1939 in Starks, Louisiana.

Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Anthony-Bass; great grandsons, Kurt and Christian Parker; his mother, Bessie Bass; and a brother, George Anthony.

Carl is survived by daughters, Debrah Bisson, and husband, Steven, of Bridge City, Jerrie Stringfellow, and husband, Terry, of Deweyville, and Dionne Northern, and husband, Charlie, of Winnfield, LA;  grandchildren, Mark Anthony, Carla Parker, and husband, Robert, Trish Anthony-Ogea, and husband, Cory, Stormy Hightower, and husband, Jason, Samantha Plunkett, and husband, Eric, Roxy Anthony and husband, Charles, Shayla French, and husband, Clifton, Jerry Miller and Brandi; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Janet Martinez, Edith Schaffer, and husband, Randy, Earlene Bass, Darlene Justiss,  Charlene Stanley, and Christine Gipson; brothers, Steven Anthony, Bobby Anthony, and wife Nola.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Lumberton Family Funeral Home.
