Bobby Ray Woodside

Bobby Ray Woodside, 73, of Vidor, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday December 30, 2016 from his home while he was surrounded by his loved ones. Bobby was a great man who was always thinking of others. He never met a stranger and he never had a cross word towards anyone. He would always have a joke to share to make others feel better. He would always make sure that his loved ones were taken care of. He always enjoyed going fishing. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Busch Woodside, Sr.; grandparents, Rufus and Ester Barton; and granddaughter, Storey Brooke Woodside.

Bobby is survived by the love of his life and wife of 55 years, Beverly Woodside of Vidor; children, Gayla Woodside Priscock and husband, Marion of Vidor, Cindy Woodside Bumpass and husband, Charlie of Vidor, and Mark Woodside of Vidor; brothers, Norman Woodside and wife Shirley of Vidor, and Mike Woodside of Silsbee; sister, Josephine Buckelew and husband, Mike of Burnet, TX; 12 grandchildren including Taylor Motley; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of dear family and friends.

A memorial gathering is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 7, 2017 at Turning Point Church of Vidor.
