Bette Sutton

Bette Jane Sutton, 87 of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. One day shy of her 88th Birthday. She was born on January 28, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas.

Bette married John Sutton in Richmond, Texas on September 12, 1958 until his death, August 19, 1996

Bette was a very hard worker and always made her way to the top. She worked many years in the food service industry. She often spoke of the good times she had at Billy Joe's BBQ and she worked at Waffle House as the "Hostess with the Mostest" until her retirement.

Bette is survived by her son, Michael Sutton and his wife Linda of Vidor, Texas; Grandson john Sutton of Vidor, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sutton her mother Pearl Propeck, and her father William Earl Rymon.
