Mary and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I pray that God will wrap you all in peace and comfort as only He can at a time like this. She was a special and kind lady, and I know that she will be missed by so many people any of us that ever sat at the coffee table came away feeling better than we did when we sat down, she just had a way of telling a story or helping you see things from a different perspective, always in a kind and loving way.... Keeping you all in my prayers. Sincerely Tammy

There will never be the right words to express the love that Granny Russell had always shown me. She was an amazing woman, grandmother, listening ear, shoulder to cry on and giver of the best advice. One thing you could always count on, was when you left from Granny's Kitchen table, you left with both your belly and your soul full. From her I gained so much. My love of coffee, my passion in cooking and most importantly how to be humble. Although I had not seen her lately, I have always carried with me every wonderful memory that I have of her. Those memories will never leave my heart nor my mind. Some of my greatest memories are sitting around the kitchen table cussin' & discussin' everything in life, from school, puppy love, the woes of being a teenager, first broken hearts, first true loves, weddings and babies, responsibilities and our first gray hairs. Granny Russell was there for me through so many ups and downs. She has laughed with me, cried with me and wiped away many tears. We may not have been blood-related, but she'll always be Granny Russell to me.
I do wish that I could be there to say goodbye one last time, but perhaps instead I shall remember you the way I always have; laughing, joking, gambling and drinking coffee. Granny, you will always be loved and cherished and will never be forgotten.

I will always remember your Mom and her laugh and voice. She was a character for sure. Will miss seeing her at her table with the coffee cup in hand. I feel your loss Mary ...and I know it will change life as you know it. But she was tired and is free of suffering now and is home waiting for you and the rest to get there. Im sure she is burning Tommy's ears off. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I will miss her. Rest In Peace Alice...
