Wesley Gean Saulsbury

Wesley Gean Saulsbury, 85, of Silsbee, passed away Monday May 8, 2016. He served in the U. S. Navy starting when he was 15. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Silsbee. He was retired from Mobil Oil as an operator, after 38 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed running the roads with his wife. They would travel between Colorado, Texas, and Arizona, depending on the weather. He was a great man and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Saulsbury.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Saulsbury of Silsbee; sons, Wesley Saulsbury of Beaumont, and William David Saulsbury and wife, Brenda of Silsbee; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Joe Saulsbury and wife, Margie of Livingston, and Jerry Saulsbury of Troy.

A graveside service was held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 9, 2017 at R. S. Cemetery in Silsbee.
