Lynn Patterson Mason

Lynn Patterson Mason, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018.  Lynn was born on October 14, 1942 in Newport, Rhode Island.  While in high school, Lynn was involved in numerous activities to include, Class President, Class Vice-President, FHA, Student Council, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Track, as well as several others.   Lynn worked in the automobile industry for many years and enjoyed all things to do with cars.  He was also a referee for area High School basketball teams; he also umpired for a Women’s Major League softball tournament in Rhode Island.  Lynn also opened Quik Draw Game Room on Chance Cut Off Road in Lumberton in the early 1980’s.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Leslie P. Mason, Jr.; and his biological father, Russell Booth.

Lynn is survived by his children, Lisa Mason Coe, of Beaumont, Debbie and Tim Mitchell, of Kountze, and Patrick and Misty Mason, of Lumberton, as well as their mother, Melda Mathews; grandchildren, Amber King, Ronnie Weeden, Chase Burnaman, Brett Burnaman, Matthew Mason, and Gabriella Mason; seven great grandchildren; three half-sisters, Sally, Susan, and Sandy; as well as many other family members and friends.

Life Honoring Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 in the Chapel at Lumberton Family Funeral Home at 4:00pm.
