Hal Thomas Parfait
December 14, 1929 ~ February 18, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years OldHal Thomas Parfait, 87, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He was born December 14, 1929 in Beaumont to N. Cleveland and Genevieve Parfait. He was a loving father and good provider. He always made sure that his family had what they needed. He was proud to serve his country first in the U.S. Army and then in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to go fishing every chance he got. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Faye Parfait.
He is survived by his loving children, James H. Parfait of Crystal Beach, Harry Parfait of Lumberton, Lee Parfait and fiancée, Joey Haynes of Lumberton, David Cleveland Parfait of Lumberton, Velma Parfait of Corpus Christi, Rita Dyson and boyfriend, William Stelly of Beaumont, and Alice Coudrain and fiancée, Abel Salinas, Jr. of Baytown; grandchildren, Sean Tyler Polk, Brandon Rosas, Crystal Leigh Coudrain, Michael Ray Coudrain and wife, Jia Weyler, Jerry Richard Jr. and wife, Glenda; great-grandchildren, Marie Faye Andrews, Aerial Hope Andrews, Lyra Anae Coudrain, and Nikolai Coudrain; and sister, Velma Busby of Houston.
Serving as pallbearers will be Harry Parfait, David Parfait, Lee Parfait, Sean Tyler Polk, Bradon Rosas, Michael Ray Coudrain, Jerry Coudrain, Jr., and James H Parfait.
The family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Thursday March 2, 2017 at Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
