Elizabeth Jane Ann Harrington

Elizabeth "Liz" Harrington, 82, of Sour Lake, passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born November 5, 1934, in Palestine, Texas. She was one of 10 children born to Alphonse and Marie Rosprim. She is survived by siblings Tommy Rosprim, Bud Rosprim, Joe Rosprim, Jeanette Story, Nell Rutledge and preceded in death by Al Rosprim, Marie Matthews, Theresa Butler and Dorothy Rosprim.

Liz was loved by all that knew her. Her life's work was loving and caring for her children Beth Willis, Mike Harrington, and Shari Moton. She blessed the life of her grandchildren Derek Willis, Dylan Willis, Paige Sandlin, and Destini White as well as beloved great-grandchildren Zoey, Riley, and Finley Willis.

She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening very much on top of being a great cook and an amazing seamstress. Having a gentle soul and a nurturing heart, she always put her family first. The family is comforted in knowing that her life truly exhibited Christ's example of loving and serving others.

The family would like to thank the kind folks at Clairmont Nursing Home, Harbor Hospice, and all of those who prayed for our family during this difficult time and wish to express deep gratitude for their kind words of love and encouragement.

Her family will receive friends at Lumberton Family Funeral Home Saturday February 25, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Duke Duong. Interment will follow at Rose Dale Cemetery in Sour Lake.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Willis, Dylan Willis, Paige Sandlin, Destini White, Kameron Williams, and Terry Williams.
