Anna Lou Payne

Anna Payne, 69, 0f Silsbee, TX passed away on November 14, 2017.  Anna was born in Ville Platte, LA on August 8, 1948 to Clifford and Elby Soileau.  Anna was a 40 years resident of Silsbee, TX, where she will be laid to rest at R.S. Farmer Cemetery on Monday, November 20, 2017. She married Arthur Payne on June 30, 1970 and they enjoyed 47 years together.  Anna enjoyed being a great wife, raising her children, chasing her grandchildren, and visiting with her friends and family.  Often, she could be found volunteering at school events, cooking a good homemade dinner, or crocheting in her comfy chair.  Anna was fourteen years old when she was baptized at the China Baptist Church and had a great relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She loved sharing her testimony of all God had done in her life.  Anna will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Elby Soileau; a sister, Betty Cline; and a grandson, Michael Harvey.

Anna is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Charles Payne of Silsbee; a daughter, Angela Andrews, and husband, Jimmy, of Silsbee; two sons, Bobby Lee Payne, and wife, Rebecca, of Silsbee, and Charles Arthur Payne, and wife, Brittany, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Steven Monday, Mathew Monday, Brandon Payne, Taylor Payne, and Brianna Payne; brothers, Stanford Soileau, and wife, Linell, and Danial Soileau, and wife, Alicia; and a brother-in-law, Johnnye Cline.
